    Have you heard about the new planeswalker points for Magic Events?

    If not check it out online as Wizards has started a great program for recognizing and awarding your participation in Magic Events.

     We also award you for your participation in Magic events at Paladin

    Starting with the Innistrad Pre Release we will be giving out awards to those who earn planeswalker points at Paladin.

    We will track your starting points and your ending points each 4 week period.

    You must participate in at least 2 tournaments at Paladin to earn these store awards.

     Those who earn the most points will be awarded as follows…

     

    Most Points Earned

    1st place - $25.00 palabucks

    2nd place - $15.00 palabucks

    3rd place - $10.00 palabucks

    Most Improved from Previous Month - $10.00 palabucks

    Random Award - $5.00 palabucks

     

    And remember….the more people at an event equals more points.

    For example, let's say you play in a Friday Night Magic tournament with 32- 63 players (Our FNM’s are within this range) You compete in five rounds, finishing with three wins, one draw, and one loss for a final record of 3-1-1. A tournament with 48 players is worth 3 Participation Points and the Event Multiplier for Friday Night Magic is 3x.

    At this event, you'll earn:

    9 points for match win (3 per win)

    + 1 points for match draw (1 per draw)

    + 3 participation points = 13

    13 x 3 (event multiplier) = 39 points that contribute to your Friday Night M
