STAFF

John Burden - John has extensive knowledge of many of the games we market and he actively plays, Magic the Gathering, World of Warcraft TCG, Versus, and Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 and 4.0 and Warmachine
He is an assistant judge for Magic the Gathering.
John is very knowledgeable in deck building for Magic and can assist with buying and selling of your Magic the Gathering cards.
You can count on John to be very helpful and friendly, so don't hesitate to ask questions!

Aaron Magnino - Aaron also has extensive knowledge of many of our games, coming from a background playing Versus, Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.
He is an assistant judge for Magic the Gathering.
Aaron can also assist with deck building and buying and selling of your collections.
Aaron has excellent customer service skills with experience working in retail stores.

Tasha Taylor - Tasha is our newest staff member. Tasha come from a background working in video game shops and is also knowledgeable in Magic the Gathering and many other of the games we carry.

About Us

Paladin's Game Castle or Paladin Gaming or known to most as just "Paladin" started on April 1st, 2003 in Bakersfield CA
Paladin Started as a dream to bring to the Bakersfield area a full line game store with a place to play. Bakersfield has a population of over 350,000 people just in the city limits and has an excellent potential for further growth in the games industry.

Within a couple of years we decided to move on to other interests. Within the next year we decided to move into and focus on the single card and single miniature sales online. A new owner took over operation of the physical store location in what had been renamed to Paladin Games & Hobbies.

The online sales of single cards, miniatures and other non-sealed game product, became quite successful. Other lines of products were added over the next couple of years expanding into trading cards, sports cards, supplies and other collectable items.

In addition Paladin Gaming branched into tournament sponsorships and became a games and hobby supporter and promoter in the local area with our Team Paladin connection, with future plans to sponsor some type of annual games day here in Bakersfield. (Still in planning)

  The new owner then decided to take his business online and into other lucrative product areas and close Paladin Games and Hobbies

  It was  then decided to reopen a new rick and mortar store called Paladins Game Castle to once again do our part to further the development of the hobby games industry in the local area.

We have recently added Comics, Graphic Novels and Toys to our product lines.
In addition we have branched into new areas including Warhammer 40K , Warmachine and other miniature lines.

Recent developments have seen the enhancement of our online sales presence with a brand new online ordering website.

There are many new ideas and plans being implemented soon!
